KIEN GIANG, Vietnam (Oct. 17, 2019) -- The newly developed Phu Quoc Marina project by BIM Group was lauded by industry leaders and travellers as among Asia’s best, at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia Gala 2019.
InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort received the awards for “Asia’s Leading Family Resort” and “Asia’s Leading MICE Resort” respectively. The property was also recognized as the best in Vietnam for the same categories at the national level.
For the last 15 years, BIM Group has been working to make Phú Quốc Marina the ultimate all-in-one holiday complex in the country. The recognition from WTA is an affirmation of the project’s success.
The Marina is located in the centre of Phú Quốc’s Long Beach, only seven kilometres from the airport. BIM Group plans to invest another 20,000 billion VND to bring the project to its full potential, collaborating with major luxury brands such as InterContinental, Regent and Sailing Club, to raise the standards and quality of services for guests and travellers.
Mr. Lê Minh Dũng, Executive Director of BIM Group’s Real Estate and Hospitality division said, “With Phu Quoc Marina’s development, we can see world-class brands coming together as well as new property types. This shows that Phu Quoc Marina is not only raising the standards and quality of the island but also helping develop the market for real estate and economy here.”
With Phu Quoc Marina, BIM Group hopes to bring Vietnam’s real estate and hospitality to a new height: luxury accommodations and entertainment together. BIM Group aims to continue its focus on family holidays and MICE customers by creating an integrated resort complex with easily accessible accommodation, shopping, entertainment, convention centres, and restaurants.
