HANOI, Vietnam (Jan. 22, 2019) — Vietnam’s Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) is inviting recent travellers to Vietnam to send feedback about their visa experience as part of an ongoing effort to improve visa policies for tourists.
TAB, a consortium of Vietnam’s leading travel industry stakeholders, launched its visa survey online last week. The board aims to gather a significant number of responses which it will submit to the Vietnamese government in an official report. TAB has successfully lobbied for policy changes in the past, including the expansion of Vietnam’s visa exemption programme.
The survey takes fewer than 10 minutes to complete online, and is open to travellers who have visited Vietnam within the past three months, as well as those who are planning trips. Interested travellers can find links to the survey form on the national tourism website — www.vietnam.travel — and on TAB’s official Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
TAB leaders said the survey was an opportunity for travellers to provide first-hand perspective on Vietnam’s existing visa program, as well as a chance for tourism authorities to understand barriers surrounding visa policy.
The board is requesting members of the local travel industry, including tour operators and hotels, to share the visa survey with their guests in a united effort to make Vietnam a more competitive and attractive destination within the region.
