  • 13 coutries with visa exemption can stay in Vietnam up to 45 days

The Vietnamese Government approved to increase the temporary stay duration from 15 days to 45 days for citizens of 13 countries exempted from visa requirement. This comes to effect from 15th August 2023.

Accordingly, citizens of the following countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Belarus are visa exempted with a temporary stay of 45 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport type and entry purpose.
